Annual Kidney Walk

How we Raise Awareness

As a team, we participate in an annual kidney walk put on by the National Kidney Foundation. This 5k unites companies, doctors and their staff, patients and families, and the community to raise awareness for kidney diseases.

To prepare for our walk, our team laced up and competed in a March Step Challenge for Kidney Month. We will also be fundraising up to the date of the walk with:

$5 denim days: our team members donate $5 to wear jeans to the office
The Envelope Wall: envelopes with various donation amounts and dedication notes
Winds of Change: details to come
Kudos2Kidneys: kidney disease awareness apparel
Water Dunk: details to come

How YOU can get involved

Patients and their families are more than welcome to participate. If you are unable to walk with us, here are other ways to participate:

Donate to the National Kidney Foundation
Empower others with information about kidney diseases and hypertension
Set health goals for yourself and encourage others to participate with you.
